Glass and glazing are among the most expensive things to replace on a build — and among the easiest to scratch, splash or etch during the works. A peelable, spray-applied protective film keeps glazing safe from first fix to handover.

Why glazing is so high-risk on site

Once windows and screens are in, they sit exposed to every following trade. Overspray, plaster and mortar splashes, weld and grinding spatter, scratches from tools and scaffolding — all of it lands on glass. Etched or scratched glazing usually can’t be polished out; it has to be replaced.

The cost of getting it wrong

Replacing a damaged sealed unit means new glass, access, labour and programme delay — and on commercial glazing the numbers climb fast. Scratched-glass claims are one of the most common avoidable snagging costs on site. Protecting the glass up front is a fraction of the cost.
