Fire protection solutions — FRED Class A fire paint for spray foam and timber, plus fire rated airtight membranes tested to ASTM E84 Class A and EN Class B

Collezione: Fire Protection

Fire protection you apply like paint — three products, three different jobs.

🔥 FRED — the Class A fire paint for spray foam and timber. FRED is our Class A2-s1,d0 fire retardant intumescent coating, the thermal barrier that lets exposed spray foam insulation and timber meet fire regulations. If building control has flagged exposed foam in a loft, garage ceiling, plant room or workshop — or you need a fire rated paint for timber — FRED goes on by spray or roller and forms an intumescent thermal barrier that resists flame spread at the highest reaction-to-fire class a coating can achieve.

🛡️ Passive Purple X — the fire rated airtight membrane. Airtightness and fire performance in one liquid-applied membrane, fire rated to ASTM E84 Class A (US) and EN fire Class B (Europe) — the airtight line for new builds, high-rise and re-cladding projects where the vapour control layer itself must carry a fire classification.

🏢 Passive Purple External — the fire rated façade membrane. A weather-resistive barrier fire rated to ASTM E84 Class A (US) and EN fire Class B (Europe) that waterproofs and airtights the façade in one coat — sprayed, rolled or brushed onto sheathing and masonry, keeping weather out and air where it belongs.

Each product does a different job: FRED protects surfaces from fire; Passive Purple X and External are airtight membranes that also carry US and European fire ratings. Not sure which your project needs? Read the fire protection solutions guide or ask our technical team.
