Frequently asked questions
What format are these specifications?
All documents follow the CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) MasterFormat® 3-part section format used across the United States and Canada, with bracketed options and highlighted specifier notes for project editing — the same convention as AIA MasterSpec-style guide specifications.
Are the products code-compliant in the US?
Performance data references ASTM test standards (ASTM E2178 air permeance, ASTM E84 surface burning, ASTM E96 vapor transmission, ASTM D4541 adhesion and others), with ICC-NTA test results where available and ICC-ES ESR-4715 for the Passive Purple family. Each section carries specifier notes on IBC/IECC air-barrier requirements. Confirm project-specific requirements with your authority having jurisdiction.
Can you help edit a section for our project?
Yes — our technical team supports North American specifiers with section editing, substitution requests, details and LEED documentation. Call USA +1 (347) 220 8403 or Canada +1 (613) 927 1011, or use the contact page.
