1. About us
This website is operated by Intelligent Membranes Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08518451, with its registered office at Clopton Manor, Clopton Farm, Lower Road, Croydon, Cambridgeshire SG8 0EF, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB 335729817.

2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed through this website and to your use of the website. Please read them before ordering. Some terms apply differently depending on whether you buy as a consumer (for your own home, not for a business) or as a business customer (for example a contractor, installer, merchant or other trade buyer). Where that is the case, we say so.
3. Prices and VAT
- All prices on this website are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout at the current UK rate, or as required for your delivery country.
- Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
- If we discover an obvious pricing error after you order, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.
4. Your order and our contract
- Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
- We may decline an order, for example if the goods are unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is an error in the price or description. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times on the website are estimates. We will tell you if we expect a delay.
- The goods are your responsibility from delivery. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
6. Cancellations and returns
Your right to cancel, and how returns and refunds work, are set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Product information, technical advice and installation
- Our technical data sheets, installation guides and test certificates describe how each product performs when stored and applied as instructed. Please follow them.
- We give technical advice free of charge on the use of our products. We do not carry out condensation risk analysis, fire engineering or structural design. The suitability of a build-up, the fire strategy and compliance with the Building Regulations remain the responsibility of the project's designer and building control body.
- Product images are for illustration. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the finished product.
- Installation services and our 0.6 ACH airtightness guarantee are provided under a separate written contract, not under these terms.
8. If you are a consumer
- We must supply goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are summarised in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. We supply goods for domestic and private use; if you use them for a business, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
9. If you are a business customer
- You are responsible for making sure the products you order are suitable for your project and are stored and applied in line with our technical documents.
- To the extent the law allows, we exclude all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute or common law, other than those about title to the goods.
- We are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for the goods in that order.
10. Things we never limit
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If one happens, we will tell you and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is significant, you may cancel and receive a refund for goods you have paid for but not received.
12. Using this website
- The content of this website, including text, images, drawings, videos and data sheets, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view, download and print it for your own use and for specifying our products, but not copy it for commercial use without our permission.
- We try to keep information on the website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and not advice for a particular project. Please contact us before relying on it for a specific design.
- You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or introduce viruses or other harmful code.
- How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on the website when you placed it.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
